Results of Work carried out for this project.
We create MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) based on the subjects that have been provided. In this game, players can play together, chat, learn, run quizzes, and final exams which will later get a rank according to the values ??that have been collected.
What we do to finish this projects?
We turn learning into an interesting game. Starting from how players can access the module more interactively, take quizzes with an attractive appearance, and conduct final exams with interactive questions without reducing the content of the lessons that have been provided.
Challenge
Our team had to prepare a lot of game assets in the form of pixel art that matched the themes and lessons raised. We also have to optimize this game because this game is a multiplayer online game so that when accessed by players, this game remains light and easy to access. In addition, in terms of the scoring system and game flow, we have to be careful in adjusting it so that there is no cheating of scores by players.
Process
We held a meeting with PUSBANGKOM JPW to see how the game structure they wanted. After that, we conducted research to provide several game options from how to play and the game style to be used.
After getting an agreement that the desired game is an RPG (Role-Playing-Game) we provide several additional features such as multiplayer so that the final agreement is in the form of an MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) and uses a pixel-art style to make it more interesting. We make characters and NPCs (Non-Playable-Characters) that are tailored to the clothes worn by the Public Works Service.
Next we conduct research on the materials that will be delivered and adjust it according to the flow that has been agreed at the beginning. We provide the module using FlipHTML5 to make the module more attractive and easy to read. We also adjusted the quiz and scoring system to avoid cheating. We also made the final exam with a different system from the previous quizzes.
Developing this game using PhpStorm and Phaser 3. For the creation of characters and assets, we used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Motion in the game we created using Adobe After Effects.
